You could win your very own lip-smacking magnum of Sebor Absinth. The sky's your limit. Entertain me, amaze me, seduce me - call on our emerald muse and get creative.

Last month I asked you to send me your Absinthe-inspired stories. There was lots of inspiration drawn from the emerald muse and there were many entries that brightened up my day and were worthy of our beautiful magnum. However there could only be one lucky recipient of the sort after Sebor Magnum and this month congratulations go to Dimitri Kakovitch, A magnum is on its way!!
Winning Entry:
I have so many absinth stories. But my most memorable was one happened last summer in Prague. I was vacation out in Czech, and we found this bar called the "Marquis de Sade". Before this incarnation, it once housed what used to be a First Republic bordello. We knew we were in for a good time. After becoming really friendly with the bartender, he taught us the proper way of drinking Czech absinth or "La Fée Verte", and we drink quite a few shots, while burning our lips at the same time. Afterwards we stubbled our way to the old Jewish quarter and had one of the greatest meals I've ever eaten at the Kafka Cafe. Still riding the greeny fairy's coattails, I ended up at a tattoo shop in Prague. I don't have any tattoos, so I wanted to make it special. The tattoo artist was really friendly, and loved Americas (very weird), and we had a few drinks with him inside the shop. There was an actual bar inside the tattoo shop, it was unbelievable. I even bought him a few beers; probably not wise, but I was still riding the absinth high. I remember as he was putting this symbol on me that I will always look at it and think of Prague and Absinth, and I still do to this day. All went well as gave me my first tattoo, we had another round, and It was the best Vacation I ever HAD!!
