First time I experienced Absinthe I was only half a mile from my house. I tried a few belts and felt fine. I was going to proceed immediately home before I felt its effects. I decided that I was okay to go to Radio Shack first to buy minutes for my cell phone. I bought the minutes and returned outside, only to find that they had NOT been added to my phone. I returned to what I thought was Radio Shack to complain. I was actually in the Dress Barn next to Radio Shack and they called the police. The cop could not believe what I was drinking, but couldn't bust me cause I wasn't driving. He called my mother who lived nearby to collect me. I have tried it since, but only under strict supervision, with keys locked up.
